Grantham Poverty Concern - Greetings Cards

GRANTHAM POVERTY CONCERN

A little while ago, I was shopping in a local supermarket in Grantham and a lovely young gentleman was stood, smiling at the end of the checkout aisle.

“Would you like me to help you with packing sir?” he asked.

Of course, I accepted the kind offer.

After he had finished, he passed me a Grantham Passage leaflet, explaining what the Grantham Charity was all about…

Quoting from the Grantham Poverty Concern website:

Grantham Poverty Concern incorporating Grantham Passage

“Grantham & District Poverty Concern Group was formed in 2001 by Ruby Stuckey MBE to support vulnerable members of the local community and its aims continue to be the relief of both poverty and homelessness.

It incorporates the Grantham Passage ("The Passage") which offers through various churches in Grantham on seven days a week a free, safe and non-judgmental meeting place, company, hot food and drink, assistance with access to services, responsible agencies and other community support.

It maintains an ‘open door' policy whereby assistance is given, after inquiry, to any applicant accepted as otherwise destitute or in need of support.”

Help, meals, self-worth. Together we can make a difference.

This is where I come in. I wanted to help and in this small way…

Last year, I created greetings cards using my wildlife and landscape photographs and I thought it would be a nice idea to team up with Grantham Poverty Concern and offer £3 of each greetings cards pack purchase to the charity.
