A Beautiful Wedding in Peterborough with Sophie & George

A beautiful intimate wedding in Peterborough with Sophie & George

I love big weddings. I love medium-sized weddings. I also love intimate weddings. Originally, this wedding wasn’t due to be an intimate one but a certain unforgettable situation (think 2020) meant that this wedding could take place on a smaller scale or not at all! I think that Sophie & George made a great decision because although this wedding was smaller and more intimate than originally imagined, it was absolutely beautiful!

I was looking through these photographs today and although this wedding happened nearly two years ago I just thought that it’s too beautiful to keep to myself so here are some of the highlights of a lovely Cambridgeshire wedding.

We started our day The Deeping Stage in Peterborough where I enjoyed photographing bridal preparations and the lovely details. The flowers were stunning and incredibly colourful, the sunflower taking centre stage in this bridal bouquet.

My next stop was to meet the groom, George at The Blue Bell in Glinton. There was lots of fun and happiness to capture as friends and family arrived, button holes secured and lovely views of St Benedict’s Church in Glinton, Peterborough.

Sophie, the bride arrived and the bridesmaids, flowers girls and page boys excitedly looked on…

After the ceremony we took the short walk across the road to The Blue Bell. I don’t take photographs of people eating (you’ll be happy to know) but it’s a cute image when a little is eating a chip with a satisfied grimace!

There was time for a few relaxed bride and groom photographs amongst the September flowers. It really was, as I’m sure you can see, a beautiful Peterborough wedding day. Thank you for having me along Sopie and George!
