A Very Intimate Wedding in West Bridgford
An Intimate Autumn Wedding Ceremony at West Bridgford Registry Office
When I say ‘an intimate wedding ceremony’ what do I mean? Well, how does this sound for a select wedding party?
Bride
Groom
Witness 1 (me, also known as the photographer)
Witness 2 (My wife!)
Four people at a Nottingham wedding. That intimate enough for you?
When Robert contacted me to ask me if I’d like to be a special part of his special day, I didn’t imagine that I’d be combining my role of wedding photographer with that of being a witness!
A few weeks ago, during a pre-wedding ceremony catch up over the phone, Robert said “We’ve got a bit of problem Christian… because of Covid, our witnesses can no longer attend the wedding so would you like to be a witness?”
“Of course!” I replied, “It would be an honour. Would you like me to ask my wife if she’ll be the second witness?”
Perfect! So, that’s Robert the groom, Jane the bride, Christian the wedding photographer and witness and Lindsay, the other witness!
It was all very relaxed, as you can imagine and after the ceremony, we enjoyed a little time for a walk and some celebratory photographs in the lovely autumnal West Bridgford Park.
Autumnal parkland and a celebrating couple - a perfect recipe for a photographic stroll around the park.
