Are Looking for your Ideal Old Vicarage Wedding Photographer?

Hello! I’m Christian and I wanted to show you a stunning wedding that I had the absolute pleasure of photographing at the wonderful Old Vicarage Boutique in Southwell, Nottinghamshire.

Is is pronouned south-well or ‘suthell’? You tell me because I still haven’t figured it out!

This blog post is a little different because it shows photographs of the wedding album that I created for Deb & Rob and it shows some of our favourite moments from the day. You’ll see around 70 photographs of the 600 that I sent to them in their final gallery.

This time, bridal preparations took place at Deborah’s home and when I arrived at the venue I made sure that I photographed some ‘setting the scene’ photographs. Rob and his groomsmen arrived and I took some elegant photographs of both the bride and groom which were befitting of the two of them and the elegant venue. The photographs of Deborah in the mirror are from the beautiful bridal suite at the venue.

Get married outdoors at The Old Vicarage Boutique!

On this stunning July day, Rob & Deborah took the opportunity to get married in the gorgeous bandstand amongst the beautiful gardens. Rob dabbed away a tear as he saw his stunning bride walk arm-in-arm with her dad and I was so pleased that I was able to capture it.

After capturing some lovely family group photographs, we spent just a few moments to take a few photographs of the bride and groom one on the lovely rope swing, one in the mirrored reflection and one with the chandelier - all of which took about 5 minutes to get, while on the way to the speeches!

I love these portraits taken in the gardens and at the front of the Victorian country house and the family V Dub Beetle. The setting sun through the trees made a for a great opportunity for some stunning light!

I stay later than most! I know that most photographers, who do a great job, don’t get me wrong, but one of the things that makes me stand out from others is that I like to stay later to capture dancefloor action, after your first dance. People, a little later on, are more relaxed and that’s often when the real party starts!
