Marry Me at Morley Hayes - a truly unique Derbyshire Venue
If you’re getting married in Derbyshire, chances are that you’re celebrating at Morley Hayes in Derbyshire. There are lovely grounds in which to enjoy the day and for a wedding photographer in Derbyshire, it’s always an enjoyable and creative photographic location. Joseph and Natalie chose Morley Hayes as their reception venue and I was so excited to deliver their wedding photographs because it was a really beautiful day.

The dress? A blue dress! Something very different for a wedding day and a very individual wedding dress which I really loved to photograph. Completely different and why not?
THE WEDDING CEREMONY AT THE FAMOUS CHAPEL ON THE HILL, KNOWLE HILL, KIMBERLEY, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
The famous chapel-on-the-hill in Knowle is worth every bit of the small climb up the hill (in the car of course). It’s a stunning little gem a top the hill. A real-life fairytale for for a fairytale bride in blue. The Chapel on the Hill, Kimberley is a fantastic Grade II listed building and a perfect wedding venue for couples who like the idea of a traditional feel to their big day.
The 19th century chapel stands on a hilltop, providing magnificent panoramic views over Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, and has historic external and internal features that have been beautifully restored.

The WEDDING RECEPTION at morley hayes, Nottinghamshire
I love it when a couple can bring the most important family member - the dog! It’s so nice to see the cherished pet on the wedding day and the special little fella posed nicely for a few photographs.
We had a great time in the summer evening - drinks on the balcony, looking out across the greenery and lush surroundings of the nature-filled golf course.
I found a completely new spot for a bride and groom portrait too - I love doing that - finding a completely different for the couple. Portraits with a difference and the bride and groom can truly call these shots their own. I love getting the portrait juices flowing and producing wedding photographs that the couple want to hang on the wall, in pride of place.
